• 1999 Waccamaw Quality
Council Certified
Ocean Lakes continues to strive towards an improved
level of customer service and satisfaction. Ocean Lakes took a very proactive
move towards benchmarking our customer service by submitting an application to the
Waccamaw Quality Council’s Quality Certification Program. Ocean Lakes
was one of the first seven businesses to apply for this certification. The
certification is based on the “customer focus” portion of the Malcolm
Baldrige National Quality Award, developed and administered by the U. S. Secretary
of Commerce and the National Institute of Standards and Technology. Ocean
Lakes’ application addressed the following criteria: Customer and Market
Knowledge, Customer Relationship Management, Customer Satisfaction Determination
and Customer Satisfaction Results. Ocean Lakes was audited based on the above criteria
by the Waccamaw Quality Council. We were one of the first three businesses
in Horry County to earn the Waccamaw Quality Council Certification. Ocean Lakes must
work to maintain this certification.
