Fishing At Ocean Lakes
Ocean Lakes Family Campground features eight freshwater
lakes and nearly one mile of oceanfront, so pack your tackle box! Our
lakes our stocked with catfish, bass, brim and carp. Because Ocean Lakes is
private property you will not need a fishing license. Fishing is a favorite
activity for many Ocean Lakes' camping families. Take part in our family Fishing Derby during the summer calendar. Teammates are there to assist guests with every thing from baiting a hook to using a cane fishing pole. The kids will have a blast!
Now, if you don't believe there's some "big ones" in our lakes, stop
by the Ocean Lakes Camptown Center and see the evidence hanging on the walls of Sandy Mart.
There are some 10+ pounders in our lakes!
While at a travel show this winter Ocean Lakes' teammates were told quite a few
Ocean Lakes "fish stories" by our longtime campers! No worries about bait
or tackle - it is available at Sandy Mart!
