Campground. June, July and part of August feature our Summer Activities calendar.
You'll find something for everyone in your family - no matter the age.
Some special activities to note:
SDU & Skateboarding - 7 pm - 8:30 pm. Clinics and "Game of Skate"
Free Skating- Half pipe and ramps located under Observation Deck. Helmets
and all pads must be worn while skating. Open 10 AM - 6 PM Daily. You must have
a wristband to enter SDU. Anyone under 18 years of age will need to register with
parent/guardian in the Recreation Office.
Surf Camp -Three
Days
Ocean Lakes has partnered with Billabong Surf Camp.
Surf Campers will get instruction in safety, surf etiquette, coastal and marine
ecology, and surfboard shaping using Billibong’s equipment. The camp
includes three days of surfing instruction and a bag of Billibong loot. No previous
experience required. Must be a strong swimmer. For ages 10-16.
Limited to 8 participants. Cost is $75 per person and must be paid prior to
class. Two camps per week, Monday - Wednesday & Wednesday -Friday..
Sign up in the Recreation Office. Exceptions for age requirements, please
inquire in the Recreation Office.
Field of Dreams Camp

Learn baseball tips from the Myrtle Beach Pelicans,
a minor league baseball team, Class A affiliate of the Atlanta Braves. Breakfast
will be served and then we’re off to have a full morning of baseball camp,
lunch and followed later on by a tailgate party and a baseball game to see the Pelicans
live. Adults and children welcome. Cost of camp is $60 per person plus site fee
which includes a shirt & hat. Tailgate and game tickets are $20 each.

Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver, Cherry Holmes Family,
The Bluegrass Strangers, Bluegrass Brothers, Kenny & Amanda Smith and more! Golf Car Poker run and other activities also planned.
Wristbands are $35 each plus site fee, children
6-12 are $15, under 6- free.
