Ocean Lakes Family Campground has something going on everyday! We leave the calendars
up all year long so you can see what kind of activities we offer when you are planning
on visiting. Generally, the monthly calendars are updated a few weeks prior to the
upcoming month. The activities are generated through the Recreation Department.

Special Programs for February

|
Cupid's Valentine Delivery
Stop by the Recreation Office to fill out a card for your Valentine. On February
14th, we'll deliver the card, candy and a rose for you. Sign your name or
remain anonymous- we won't tell! Deliveries within Ocean Lakes only. Cupid's
office will close at 1:00pm on Wednesday, February 13th. $2.50 per rose, card,
and candy.
Family Night at Dixie Stampede
Enjoy Dixie Stampede at a discounted rate on Wednesday nights. Ocean Lakes
offers a special Family Night rate only on Wednesday nights. Seats are limited
so reserve your seats at the recreation office no later than Tuesday at 3:00pm.
Covered Dish Dinner and Bingo
Tuesday, February 5th and 26th at 6 pm
Join us in the Recreation Building. for bingo and some great food! Don't forget
to bring your favorite covered dish to share with everyone else. We will provide
the coffee. Sign up in the Rec. Building. by noon on the day of the event.
Minimum of 12 people for this event to take place. Prizes to winners
of bingo! No fee.
Pre-Valentine's Day Pizza Dinner
Tuesday, February 12th at 6 pm
Bring your sweetheart to the Recreation Building for pizza and games. Sign
up in the rec. office by noon on the day of the event. $6.00 per person. Minimum
of 15 guests for this event to take place.
Beach n' Boogie
Weekend
Friday - Saturday, February 15th - 16th
A weekend full of great Beach Music, Shag Lessons, Food & Fun! This year's
talent was based on guests favorite picks, The Craig Woolard Band will be performing
on Friday and Band of Oz on Saturday. Wristbands are good for all related
events, adults $25 each, children under 12 are $15 each, plus site fee.
Horry County Museum's Annual Quilt Gala
Saturday, February 23rd, 10 am - 4 pm
Sunday, February 24th, 1 pm - 4 pm
Some of the areas finest Quilters will have their work on display in the
Recreation Building. Quilting supply vendors will also be on hand. $5 admission.

Daily/Weekly Activities for February 2008

Water Aerobics
Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8 am in the indoor
pool. 8 am in the indoor pool. Join our qualified instructor for a class
of aerobic conditioning, toning exercises, and movement for rehab and arthritis.
All levels are welcome. No fee.
Exercise Class
Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays at 8 am
8 am in the Recreation Building. Start the day off in a healthy way.
Muscle Conditioning/Yogacise classes are held in the Recreation Building. No
fee.
Coffee and News
Mondays - Fridays at 9 am in the Recreation Building.
Mondays - Fridays at 9 am in the Recreation Building. Start the day with a cup of
coffee and the daily news. Papers available for reading. No Coffee
& News 2/15 & 2/22.
Adult Mini Golf
Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays Meet at 10 am at
Sandy Harbor Mini Golf Course for our tournament. Prizes for winners. No fee.
Family Ceramics
Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at 10 am
in the Recreation Building, Room C. Class fee is $1.50 plus cost of bisqueware.
(No ceramics February 19th)
Bingo
Mondays & Wednesdays at 7 pm is Bingo night
at Ocean Lakes. We will play 10 games, limit 1 card per person. Games are free of
charge.
